Practical workshops will be presented that address nonprofit governing board responsibilities, understanding and using financial information, nonprofit legal documents and strengthening board leadership. Participants will also have opportunity to ask questions and explore issues related to their nonprofit organization.  A special workshop will be presented for new board members of nonprofit organizations. Join with nonprofit specialists from the Oregon Department of Justice and IRS Tax Exempt Division, attorneys, accountants and consultants for a valuable day of learning!
